Ready to take the first step?

Here’s what to expect.

We offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your individual needs.

How to be Admitted

Seeking help takes courage. We’ve made the admission process as straightforward as possible so you can focus on what matters: your recovery. If you have any questions before or during the process, our team is available on 012 830 0010.

Length of stay

Your stay is tailored to your recovery, not a fixed schedule. Most patients are admitted for between 7 and 21 days, with the duration guided by your clinical team’s regular assessment of your progress. Your wellbeing comes first.

What to bring

  • ID Book or Passport

  • Medical aid card (if you are a member)

  • Casual clothing, sleepwear, and comfortable shoes

  • Any chronic medication you are currently taking (in original packaging)

  • Toiletries

  • A notebook and pen

  • A water bottle

  • Anything small that brings you comfort

Please do not bring valuables, or items that could pose a risk to yourself or others. Our staff will guide you on anything specific to your admission.

Cost and Payment

  • Fisha Mental Health Hospitals accepts patients with medical aid cover and private (selfpaying) patients. Co-payments as determined by your medical aid must be settled on admission. Private patients are required to pay in full on the day of admission. We encourage you to contact us before your admission date so we can discuss your specific situation and ensure a smooth process.
